A position in Event Coordinating/Management, Marketing and Communications, or Human Resources.
How confident are you that your Higher Promise Internship will help you reach these goals?
Without this internship, I would have no professional references or recommendations to put on my resume related to my degree, which would have hindered my chances at landing jobs in my field.
What has been your favorite part of the internship?
My favorite part of my internship has been having the opportunity to create a student highlight series for scholarship recipients. These stories will help celebrate these hard-working students and what they have accomplished, as well as connect them to others of all ages within the community.
Would you recommend Higher Promise to other Promise Scholars? If so, why?
I would recommend Higher Promise to other Promise Scholars because not only do you get the opportunity to have a paid internship within the Kalamazoo Community, but you also get the chance to connect with other scholars and take workshops to help with professional development and preparedness.
