Connecting to the Culture

The Kalamazoo Promise is excited to host "Connecting to the Culture" on March 15th, 2023, from 4-7PM at The Kalamazoo Promise (180 E Water St Kalamazoo, MI 49007).

This event is for you if:

• You have not used The Promise

• You have only used part of The Promise

• You are unsure about how to use The Promise

If you’ve attended our reconnection events in the past such as Males of Promise, Promise Connects, etc., you know what we are about! But if you haven’t and you are interested in learning how you can utilize your Promise Scholarship, to explore the opportunities available as you connect to your pathway, then this is for you!

This event is designed to be an opportunity to expand your network, engage with your peers, and learn about all degrees and certificate training programs available through the Promise, including:

• Apprenticeships & Skilled Trade Programs

• Community Colleges (including many skilled trade certificates and credentials)

• Colleges & Universities

• Michigan Colleges Alliance

Scholars who attend this event will walk away with invaluable experiences, connections, skills, and a network of like-minded peers, mentors, and organizations to serve as resources along their path to their Promise.

The Kalamazoo Promise is located at 180 E Water St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007

Free ramp parking is available using the North Edwards St parking garage entrance. If you park in the garage, please use the spaces labeled "Visitor Parking." We can validate your parking when you arrive. Access to The Promise office can be found on the the 2nd floor near the northwest entrance. From there, take the stairs or elevator to our 1st floor entrance. If you have any issues, please call 269.337.0037.
